Aid?

I've recently read on Newsmax that the Indian government is saying, "No, thanks for asking" on international aid from the tsunami tragedy. I like their individual, rugged, "cowboy-up" stance - it is a position few other nations will take when offered the ever-increasing handout from Uncle Sugar.

Indonesia, however, is happily accepting aid. Why, a young gentleman with a t-shirt bearing the handsome visage of his hero, Osama Bin Laden (that sage and caring child-killer) was recently photographed receiving aid from U.S. sources.

Nice, that. Should we really be sending anything to that country? An Imam there recently was preaching "jihad" against the United States, the population is openly hostile to U.S. citizens, and Indonesia is a defacto supporter of our enemies. You may remember that U.S authorities foiled a plot to blow up a number of airliners over the Pacific ocean there...

We're like that hot girl in school that always dates the mean losers. We're just not happy unless we're giving it away to somebody who wants to see us dead.
