This is The Libercontrarian:

Gun owner. Married. Ex-Navy.

A Christian, but not too sinless. Foul-mouthed, sarcastic, a little self-righteous. Sometimes angry. Jocluar. A bit of a crusader. A great friend. A pretty decent American.

My Personal, Disappointing Blogging Experience

I have perhaps whined of this malady before - I create a great post, and attempt to spell-check it. Then, my wonderful, free, reliable <ahem> Microsoft browser product shits the bed with my post. This event has created a black, dull, throbbing hatred, way, way down deep in my soul for Bill Gates, Microsoft products, computers in general... and for blogging.

See, I got a good drunk-on the other night. Sometimes in fits of insobriety, my mind is freed from the daily rubbish of job maintenance, and I am inspired to blog about one thing or another, but on this particular night, I ranted out a good bit o' the hype. I was pretty durned proud of myself, proud enough that I thought I'd test my literacy and sobriety <ahem> with the spell-checker. That's when the magic happened.

The post disappeared from my screen, and the browser crashed. I had nothing on my clipboard. I began to scream obscenities at the computer. I broke out in a fit of rage (this is VERY uncharacteristic of my behavior in the last five years) and smashed my $40 mouse into the wall, which at the time, was unfortunately holding up my $30 Bluetooth adapter. Tiny shards of black plastic keep turning up in the dark corners of my den :@( .

I haven't felt that much regret for my stupidity in years. It put me off blogging for several days, but I have replaced the broken equipment and the fractured mindset and have stepped back into the fray.

I will now go off to visit my friends Jheka Blitz (The Daily Blitz) and Eric Cowperthwaite (Eric's random musings) and pay my respects to those two Californians to let them know that I have returned.

Two words for you ......... Mozilla and Firefox. *big evil grin*

Hey, I meant to write back to your email but between one thing and another, life has been busy. Thanks for the compliments on my post to Matt. You have just got to check out his comments back to me on my newest post. He clearly has been infected with Orwellian newspeak and thinks that liberal=socialist.

Hey, it happens. Actually, it happens to me a lot because I'm too dumb to save my posts in Word before trying to post them, as I repeatedly remind myself to do. Try to not let it take you off your blogging game.

Actually, if you want to see something disturbing, check out who's teaching America's youth.
