Dear GOD - this is an incredible 2nd Amendment VICTORY!

The tables may be turning for Second Amendment advocates and for free citizens everywhere in the U.S. - the D.C Circuit Court today reviewed and ruled on the District's unconstitutional gun ban, in effect for like 34 years, and found it... UNCONSTITUTIONAL.

Among their rulings:
"There is an individual right to keep and bear arms."
Huh? Wha? "Individual right?"

The D.C. city attorneys claim upset, and say they are taking this... to the Supreme Court! GASP! Could it be the Supremes have to rule on a gun rights issue in our lifetimes, instead of assiduously ducking the target like they've done since their flawed ruling in Miller vs. United States (1934)?

Go see my friend Jed from Freedom Sight on this deal; he has the complete story, including some damned insightful analysis on the topic. I will be attending the morrow's Libertarian breakfast and follow-on gun show, and will be educating myself further on the ruling, making myself ready to comment intelligently in tomorrow's posting.
